Gospel Community church Storehouse youth
Sundays from 5:00 pm - 7300pm at Redeemer Fellowship (1210 Chambers St.)
Our Mission:
We want to see our youth transformed by the Gospel work of Christ and build them up as disciples to go into the world, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ as the hero of our lives.
Our Foundation:
We rely on God’s word - the Bible. Scripture provides us with an explanation of the nature of humanity, guidance on how we are to live our lives, and hope in how we can live eternally with the Father in heaven.
What We Do:
When we meet, we talk about Jesus. We discover our human nature, our failure to love God and others, and how Jesus came to save us and show us a better way. Through conversation we will look and the importance of the Gospel message, who we are called to be, and how we respond to the saving work of Jesus.
What We Don’t Do:
We are not your children’s parents. Scripture expresses the importance of parents being a part of their children’s growth in their faith (Eph. 6:1-4, Deut. 6:6-7, Psalm 78:2-4). Our youth ministry is here to support the parental ministry. The involvement of parents is necessary for the repetition of Gospel truths. We do not babysit, we plant the seed. Parents are to water with the Gospel through the work of the Spirit.
